All new players join our baseball group as free agents. Free agents are expected to come to a few of our open play baseball sessions, meet our players, and connect with our team captains before becoming eligible to join one of our teams.

After attending a few open play baseball sessions, free agents can also sub for teams who need players for a game, participate in exhibition games, and participate in other events such as the Milwaukee Sandlot Home Run Derby.

The overwhelming majority of free agent players go on to join one of our teams. However, if you’d like to keep it extra casual and stick to shagging fly balls, taking a few swings during BP, or just hanging out during open play... that’s completely fine too! Playing on a team is not required to have a good time with us!
